UPDATE: Sunset Yoga will still be going ahead as forecasts indicate that the smoke will start to clear this afternoon. We will update all if the event gets cancelled.
We adore koalas here at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and we’ve been devastated to hear the news that the catastrophic bush fires in NSW and QLD have torn through huge areas of vital koala habitat, resulting in the mortality and injury of hundreds of our beloved koalas.
The WILD LIFE Conservation Fund has already made donations to 'Koalas in Care' and "WIRES Bushfire Emergency Fund' but we want to raise even more funds!
We’ve teamed up with the awesome Kiin Yoga & Flow Athletic to create a unique Sunset Yoga event at our beautiful open air Koala Rooftop with all proceeds going to these charities.
We will also be holding a raffle across the two evenings with some amazing prizes, so please bring cash with you:

FAQ
How do I find Koala Rooftop?
Koala Rooftop is an area located within WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. Once you arrive at the ticket office (next to SEA LIFE) you will be registered then granted access to WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. It will take around 15 minutes to get to Koala Rooftop which is located after the nocturnal zone.

Will I see Koalas?
Yes! We have around 10 Koalas up on Koala Rooftop and they tend to be very active around this time so you’re likely to get some great photos.
Will I be able to touch a Koala?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. We have a no touching policy at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo but you can still get up close to our furry friends and take some great pictures from outside the enclosure.
Will I be able to see any other animals?
Yes! You’ll be able to see many of our iconic Australian animals on your way to Koala Rooftop, so ensure you arrive early!
Where will the money raised be going?
All proceeds generated from ticket sales will be donated via the WILD LIFE Conservation Fund equally to 'Koalas in Care' and "WIRES Bushfire Emergency Fund'.

Comfy yoga appropriate clothing is recommended.
Do you have changing facilities?
Yes, we have bathrooms up on Koala Rooftop.
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
No, all the yoga equipment will be provided.
How many people will be in the class?
Up to 40.
What level of yoga will this be?
The yoga session will be appropriate for beginners and intermediate levels.
Who will be running the yoga event?
