AGENT: Business Influence for Impact (A bushfire relief fundraiser)

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

StartUp Creative & ALTS Projects, along with Local Peoples, LaunchVIC, Matters Journal and Stone & Chalk (plus more) have teamed up to present a fundraiser event bringing together Melbourne-based businesses, creatives, entrepreneurs and the wider startup ecosystem, in order to raise money for bushfire relief efforts. Focusing on using our collective business power to make positive changes that will benefit the environment in which we live.

This special event will aim to communicate a message of self-activation - our ability to implement small, but significant, change to influence our individual impact, and the ability to empower ourselves with knowledge in the face of leadership that persists with inaction on climate change.

This event will focus on informing our entrepreneurial, creative and business communities on the state of affairs of our environment, provide relevant education on the practical ways we can use our businesses to make real and lasting change, and empower each other to take urgent and immediate individual action to reduce our collective impact on this planet.

In order to do this we have assembled a panel of informative thought-leaders who are using their businesses to have influence on the wider community, and call for a change in the minds of everyday consumers.

Our guests will share a number of ways they are personally doing this, the impact they are striving for, and most importantly, will provide tips, tricks and hacks as to how we can do the same.

***ALL ticket proceeds and raffle proceeds from this evening will be donated to Wildlife Victoria & Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) split evenly. Find out more about them here:
