The Vegan Women Collective is proud and excited to present the second instalment of the 2019 Specialist Workshop Series!
Following the success of our Goal Setting and Vision Board workshop facilitated by certified life coach & co-founder of Lord of the Fries Amanda Walker, the Collective presents Nourish your life: Vegan Nutrition to achieve optimal health with Vegan Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Nutritionist and chef Ebony McCorkell.
In this 3.5-hour workshop that will also include some hands-on learning activities, Ebony will cover:
· Where do you get your protein? Vegan nutrition essentials including the nutrients vegans need to be aware of and how to obtain them
· How to tell you’re being lied to… Scientific literacy including the red flags of misinformation, hierarchy of evidence and media spin
· Health beyond weight: an introduction to the intuitive eating, mindful eating, non-diet approach
Come along to optimise your health and build up your language around the ins and outs of vegan nutrition.
Ebony has a Bachelor of Health Sciences (majoring in Nutrition and Food Studies) from Deakin University and a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Canberra.
