This event has passed Get Tickets

Event description

Join us for an afternoon that celebrates the creativity and flair of South Asian women. Together, let's shine a spotlight on our heritage and raise a glass (or a cup of chai) to the women who inspire us to 'Be' anything.

Whether you call yourself a brown girl or someone with an incredible tan all year round, this afternoon is for you. Hear from women who are pushing the boundaries of work and life as they embrace their identities, and weave their story into the fabric of South Asian history.

Tickle your taste buds with a local high tea whilst being serenaded by the voice of Amritha Shakti and feasting your eyes on this season's latest bridal wear curated by luxury Indian fashion brand BY ELORA

Together, let's learn more about this thread that binds us.

PAYING IT FORWARD

We've chosen to partner with Humanitix for our ticketing to ensure that every dollar spent goes a little further. Together we are supporting Room to Read with all the booking fee profits funding education programs for young girls in South East Asia and Africa. As three women who were fortunate enough to reap the benefits of education, this cause deeply resonated with us. For every $70 we generate; 1 girl learns to read and write for a year. So join us as we ensure that future generations can dare to dream; just like we do.

PEOPLE WHO MADE THIS POSSIBLE

To Note: This is an adults only event; open to attendees 18 years and over. We encourage you to bring along some friends and enjoy an afternoon of festivities with us.
