Event description

Trail Running through Wungong Regional Park! Join us for 5.5km or 10.7km or 14.1km fun filled trail run.

Whether you're back for another round in the "Summer Series" or brand new to trail running, this event is not to be missed! We get adventurous types who've accomplished plenty of other fitness achievements maybe a half, full or even ultra marathon! Trails are fun and open to everyone.

We provide course markings the whole way to help you stay on track! We'll also have assistants at key intersections to help you stay on track, and giving out high 5's!

Not only that, but we've got a quirky "Qi" theme, and an awesome community that make our events so special.

Courses will be well flagged - and marshalled at a few key intersections. We will do our best to keep you on course, but it is your responsibility to keep aware of the flagging.

Please checkout our website for all the specifics http://www.perthtrailseries.co... am I required to bring?

1. You must carry a hydration system that will hold a minimum of 500ml for the duration of the event. This could be a handheld, a pack, or a waist belt. We recommend most runners carry at least 1 ltr.

2. You must wear your race bib at all times during the event.

3. A positive, prepare for anything attitude!

What will I be running on?

Course Description: The third race of the series provides a 1 km warm-up on a wide track, all racers will turn left and enjoy a very short, rocky, somewhat technical descent to a brook, which will doubtfully have water in it at this time of year. The descent enables you to get as low as possible so that the first climb you face is that much greater. Catch your breath at the top with some undulating slight downhill, a very short single track descent, and another climb. You'll run on some very scenic trail.

Is there an Aid Station?

Aid stations: For Blue and Black courses there will be one aid station at approximately halfway, providing water, carbohydrates and electrolyte (so bring your reusable, collapsible cup!) and bananas.

When do I collect my Race Bib?

Race bib pickup for this event is on race day only:

Start/finish line, Sunday 19 January 2020 (race day), 6.00 - 6.50 AM (Blue course and Green course)

Will I receive more information?

Yes! The week before the event we send out a PRE RACE email. It will include all the specifics to help you be best prepared for the day.
