The Next Seat - bringing gender diversity to the startup boardroom

We already know our startup ecosystem has a challenge in terms of the visibility and number of women founders. A lesser known problem is the lack of representation around the boardroom table of the high-growth businesses of the future.

Following on from our successful 'Get on Board' events in March this year, The Next Seat aims to continue the conversation around how startups can build effective boards that prioritise diversity from the outset, as well as sharing the stories of successful women board directors helping to steer startups through their high-growth trajectory.

The event will kick off with a panel of experienced directors sharing their insights on the power of an effective startup board, followed by three up-and-coming startups 'pitching' their business to to an untapped market of talented women who could be potential new advisors or board members.

Join us in our mission to help more women take the next seat at the table, and play a role in the continued growth of Australia's startup ecosystem.
