Event description

Trail Running through Jarrahdale and Serpentine National Park! Join us for a 10km or 25km or 50km adventurous trail run. 

Whether you're back to meet the Truth again, or brand new to trail running, we've got distances for everyone! Challenge some mates to join you in a half or ultra marathon! Trails are fun and open to everyone.

We provide course markings the whole way to help you stay on track! We'll also have assistants at key intersections to help you stay on track, and giving out high 5's! 

Not only that, but we've got a quirky themes, and an awesome community that make our events so special. 

Truth or Consequences is the 50km event, Half Truth is 25km, and Partial Truth is 10km.

What am I required to bring? 

1. You must carry a hydration system that will hold a minimum of 500ml for the duration of the event. This could be a handheld, a pack, or a waist belt. We recommend most runners carry at least 1 ltr.

2. You must wear your race bib at all times during the event.

3. A positive, prepare for anything attitude!

What will I be running on? 

Course description: The courses share the same 25km loop. The 50km, gets to run it twice. The 10km course is a much different experience. Each contain nice, wide fire trail as well as awesome single track. And they are both loops that see you starting and finishing in the same location.

Is there an Aid Station?

Aid stations: There will be aid stations on course. 

When do I collect my Race Bib?

Race bib pickup for this event is on event day only:

Start/Finish line, Saturday 01 August 2020 (event day) from 6.30am (collection times vary for each course).

Will I receive more information?

Yes! The Wednesday before the event we send out a PRE RACE email. It will include all the specifics to help you be best prepared for the day.

What time does my race start?

  • 6.30-7.10 am: Race bib pickup & check-in for Truth or Consequences Ultra, Start/Finish line
  • 7.15 am: Race briefing for ultra
  • 7.30 am: Truth or Consequences 50km start
  • 8.20-9.10 am: Race bib pickup & check-in for Half Truth, Start/Finish line
  • 9.15 am: Race briefing for Half Truth
  • 9.30 am: Half Truth start
  • 10.30 am Race briefing for Partial Truth
  • 10.45am Partial Truth starts
  • 11.30 am: First runners in/Lunch starts being served
  • 1 pm (TBC): Presentations for Half Truth
  • 1.30 pm (TBC): Presentations for Truth or Consequences

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Minimum age of 16 with permission from parent. 

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Transport will be covered in the PRE RACE BRIEF which gets email out the Wednesday prior to the event. 

When does registration close?

Registration closes Monday prior to the event unless sold out earlier. 

What's the refund policy?

There will be a 90% refund of entry fees if written notification is received at least 3 weeks before the event in question (i.e., the Saturday occurring 21 days/3 weeks before the event). There will be a 60% refund of entry fees if written notification is received no less than 10 days before the particular event in question (i.e., by Tuesday 11:59 PM 10 days prior to race day). There will be no refund after that date for any reason including rescheduling or cancellation due to any natural disaster or Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPaW) trail closure. Entries may be transferable to another individual in exceptional circumstances, at the sole discretion of the race series director. Participants cancelling due to injury who are available to volunteer at an event (and are needed) are likely to receive a transfer of entry to a future event.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Your ticket is non-transferrable. If you wish to upgrade your distance, you will be charged the difference plus an admin cost of $10. If you wish to downgrade, no refund of entry fees will be provided.

Can I give it to a mate? 

No. Your ticket, your identity.
