Join the Rangers of the Fitzgerald River National Park for a walk taking in spectacular coastline where you will see rugged geology and a variety of wildflowers some of which are found nowhere else in the world. 

The Rangers call this their backyard and have in depth knowledge of the park and its surrounds. You will be joined by a representative of the Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show.

September 10th & 19th - Hakea Trail section, approx 10kms - Class 3. Meet at West Beach in the FRNP 8am for 8.30am bus departure to starting point.

September 12th - East Mount Barren Walk - height: 311m, distance: 2.6km return (allow 2 to 3 hours) Trail Classification: Class 4 Moderately difficult. Meet at East Mount Barren carpark at 8.15am for 8.30am start.

National Park fees will apply. Please clean footwear and equipment at the start and finish of any walks you do in natural areas to prevent the spread of Phytopthora dieback. Mud sticks - prevent dieback by washing your vehicle before entering FRNP - facilities available in Hopetoun.
