Event description

Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation drop-in class every Friday in Mordialloc.

Do you want to:

Then come along to our casual/drop-in Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation classes every Friday morning in Mordialloc, 9.15 - 10.00am.  

Doors will open at 9.00am and Meditation will start at 9.15am sharp.  

Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation is backed by scientific peer reviewed research (over 7000 articles on meditation in fact), so we know with confidence that establishing a regular practice will:

  • Bring feelings of peace and calm
  • Increase resilience to stress and disease
  • Improve creativity and performance (at work or in sport)
  • Assist us to become more compassionate humans
  • Improve confidence and overall well-being

*Book in for one class, or for every class till the end of 2019.  

Pay what you can - from $2.00 - $15.00 per casual class.  

Pay for a 5 class pass starting from any date - $50.00.

We want everyone to have access to the healthy ageing benefits of Meditation.  No judgement at all on which ticket price you choose.  These classes are designed so that everyone can attend. 

*Note that, unless purchasing a 5 class pass, you will need to finalise separate payments for each week.  This gives you the freedom to book from week to week to suit your needs and availability.

What To Expect:

We will be sitting in chairs.  Please feel free to bring along any cushions or blankets for your personal comfort.  If you have your own meditation cushion please feel free to bring that along.

Wear comfortable and warm clothing.

Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation is non-denominational.  

No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to be open to experiencing peace and calmness. 

Parking is available at St Nicholas church, and in the streets around Mordialloc's Main Street.  Please read parking signs carefully.  We are also only metres from Mordialloc Station if you are coming by public transport.
