Working Group | Connecting Strategy and Execution – a Hoshin Kanri Approach

This event has passed Register

Event description

This working group will focus on Connecting Strategy and Execution.

The words Hoshin and Kanri mean “direction” and “management” respectively. Hoshin Kanri is used by successful organisations to ensure tasks are being executed at all levels of the organisation in alignment with the strategic direction of the business.

If everyone in your organisation is not connected and engaged with your strategic objectives, then you cannot be maximising the engagement and effectiveness of your workforce.

A crucial detail of Hoshin planning is that it is not strictly a top down direction, it is a joint effort between leaders and employees who mutually agree and set goals to achieve results.

This workshop will outline the 7 step Hoshin Kanri model and allow for discussion on successes and challenges faced in organisations around connecting Strategy with execution by the workforce.

Our events are an excellent forum for networking and engaging in 'peer to peer' learning with other members. To get the most out of the event you need to attend the event with a willingness to contribute to group discussions.
